Further, Statistical databases in National economy(Indiastat and EMIE's Economic Outlook) and Statistical Analysis Packages (SPSS and STATA); Bibliographic/reference manager (endnote) and web survey designing tool(QuestionPro); have been purchase for the benefit of users. and web survey package - Full-Text e-journals, corporate/industry databases, statistical databases, memberships, Besides, in-house developed databases and institutional repositories form the part of e-resources. The resources are accessible on Wi-Fi and LAN networks.

EBSCO-BSC is a Full-text online database of scholarly journals related to management & business subject areas. the database includes FT of articles of over 6000 journals with archives ranging from 1940-2011. PROQUEST-ABI & HCM: Inform is a Full-text online database of scholarly journals related to management & business subject areas. the database includes FT of articles of over 5000 journals with archives ranging from 1950-2011. The HCM database has FT journals related to healthcare and some overlapping journals with ABIC database. Elsevier's Science Direct Business, Management and Accounting (BMA) collection: Currently TAPMI is subscribing BMA collection of SD. by Jan 2016, it is going to add Finance, economics & Econometric collection also to the existing BMA collection. Jgate- Social Science and Management Science database is an abstracting, indexing and FT database on Management and Allied subjects. The subscribed print journals with access to archives could also be linked to this database. Crisil Industry Analysis contains in-depth analyzed reports of 70 major Indian industries and super 16 are in-depth reports of 16 specialized industry segments (like micro finance, e-commerce, city gas distribution etc). TAPMI subscribe both the databases. ISI Emerging Markets is a corporate online database of Industries and individual companies in India. It delivers news, company and financial data direct from more than 80 emerging markets in India. Like Crisil, ICRA is also a rating agency. ICRA also publishes detailed and special reports on Indian Industry. TAPMI is susbcribing ICRA industry reports too. Prowess is the powerful corporate database for providing in-depth financial data with archives on limited companies and industries in India. it is the first database subscribed by TAPMI 21/2 decades back. However, the access to database is only through LAN. efforts are on at company for its web-version. The CapEx is database of the life cycle of New Investments/projects in government and private sectors in India. it measures the history from intentions through implementation and completion of projects. the Dx version is support research with more data. TAPMI has subscribed Dx version for researchers. Capital line is another powerful corporate database on complete financial profile of Indian industries and companies. The data is exportable to MS-excel format and marketed by Capital Market. While NAV is web version, Neo is LAN Version. Neo has more archives for research purpose. Venture Intelligence database on Mergers and Acquisitions is another subscribed database on capital Markets This database is course related database on capital markets. TAPMI subscribes this database during the course Futures and options. Indiastat.com online database provides comprehensive statistical data on Micro/Macro economic and socio-economic information related to India. The downloaded data can be saved in spreadsheet (excel) formats. The database has another several sub databases. A comprehensive subscription allows to have access to all the databases with same login details. the Economic outlook (revised version of Business Beacon) is another powerful web-based statistical database of CMIE on Micro/Macro economic features of India. TAPMI is a member of Developing library network (DELNET) is a Govt of India Initiative to network libraries for an effective resource sharing and inter library lending collaborations. Delnet allows member libraries to search Union catalog of books and other resources, freely available web dictionaries and other content uploaded on its website.
TAPMI is a member of American Information Resource Centre, Chennai for Inter Library lending purposes. It borrows books for its users from AIRC and the members get latest books and articles alerts from AIRC on regular basis. TAPMI has signed MOU with Harvard Business School for purchase of HBS cases and other instructional materials for classroom discussions. Besides, TAPMI purchases Books published by HBS as part of special collection TAPMI is member of IIMA case unit; ECCH (renamed as The Case Centre) and Ivey Business School, for purchasing Management cases to classroom discussions Dr. Manjuantha is a member of McKinsley Quarterly. the membership allows searching of premium content articles and downloading of the same. TAPMI faculty members are members of SSRN [Social Science Research network]. The databse has abstarcts on over 225,200 scholarly working papers and containing over 193,000 downloadable full text documents in Adobe Acrobat pdf format. TAPMI is using SPSS for the past more than two decades and regularly keep updating with current versions. Recently, it has upgraded to Version 22.0 to enable enhanced research activities. in order to facilitate researchers for advanced tools like structural equation modelling (SEM) and Confirmation Factor Analysis (CFA) it has purchased AMOS v22.00 also. SPSS & AMOS can be accessed through LAN.
In addition to SPSS, TAPMI has purchased Latest version of STATA also to support statistical analysis for research activities in institute. TAPMI has setup a 25 terminal Bloomberg Finance lab to support students of finance elective and Banking and Financial Course. Like Trade crakers, TAPMI subscribes course based databases such as Atlas-ti for HRM/OB and Spider-ACE for finance courses. TAPMI has subscribed EPhorus- Plagiarism software to verify the originality of the content submitted as partial fulfillment of the course. |

Databases consisting Bibliographic details of library Books, Journals, Bound volumes, Students' project reports, Management cases, Videocassettes, CDs and Company annual reports. These databases have been created using in-house developed software and these are accessible through "OPAC".
BrandScan is an annual market research project carried out by students under the guidance of faculty members for public. In addition to print copies of such project reports (about 230), the FT of reports are available in digital format accessible on intranet. Students are required to undergo 8-10 weeks internship in companies and submit a report to the institute. In addition to print copies of the reports, library started digitizing them and digital copies of recent 15 batches are accessible to users. TAPMI faculty members have developed about 180 Management cases and these cases have been submitted to European Case Clearing House (ECCH, UK, renamed as The Case Centre) case repository for use by other bschools. Besides, It has purchased several cases from Harvard Business school, ECCH, Darden, Ivey and ICFAI. a copy of these cases have been kept in library for ready reference. This collection is accessible for faculty members only. The books authored by TAPMI faculty members and published by commercial publishers are displayed in library. The FT of research papers published by them in National & international are made accessible on LAN/intranet. The FT of soft copy of working papers published by TAPMI are accessible on intranet. TAPMI organsie annual T.A. Pai Memorial Lecture on Janury 17th by inviting eminent personalities in education, administration, politics and social service. The Full Text of such lectures have been digitized and PDF format of past memorial lectures since 1984 are accessible to users on inranet. besides print copies, the annual reports of leading companies in India have been downloaded for the past 5-6 years and are made accessible on net. the s/c of annual reports are also accessible through corporate databases subscribed by the library. The digital copy of the Library Identity cards and passport Photos of studnets from first batch (1984-86) are accessible on LAN. The database consisting of details of TAPMI students (alumni) from first batch are accessible. The subject bibligaphies compiled by Dr. Manjunatha on various topics of Management and published in Vikalpa- a management journal of IIMA are available for reference as well accessible on LAN. the bibliogaphies also accessible through EBSCO online database. |

The library has over 3000 CDs/DVDs on management and related subjects. The CD collection includes subejct CDs, Cds accompanied with books and journals and CDs developed during institutional programs such as industry Day, Brandscan, and Convocation. some videocassettes in the library have been converted to CDs exclusively for self academic purposes.
Audio/Video Cassettes:
The library has about 400 videocassettes on Management and related subjects. Besides, the videocassettes prepared during the institute’s activities such as Convocation and Brand Scan are available in the library. some of these videocassettes have been converted into CDs. About 25 CD converted audiocassettes are also available in library.
